Alok Bijith

Alok looks after growth and partnerships at Ensemblee. Most of his week goes into talking to people: developers and builders, other design practices, clients who are still making up their minds. Eventually leading up to the magic behind the projects source.

He brings the work in and he looks after the relationships behind it, here in Bangalore and further out. He also spends a fair amount of time on the less visible side of it, keeping track of who was spoken to and when, what was promised and what came back. He thinks selling is the easy half. Making sure a client actually receives what they were sold is the part that earns the next referral.

Before Ensemblee he was in business development at SCALE – The Sona Group, building partnerships with colleges across Bangalore, running their Finishing School programme and doing the rounds at industry forums like IACC and BCIC. He studied marketing at PES University. He is as comfortable in a spreadsheet as in a pitch deck.

Most of the work he brings in started as a conversation, not a pitch.
