Plan approval, handled
Building in Bangalore means getting the plan approved by the Greater Bengaluru Authority (GBA, formerly BBMP). We design to the bye-laws from the first sketch, prepare the drawings and documents the approval needs, and coordinate the submission with you, so the building you approve on paper is the one that gets built.

What kinds of projects do you design in Bangalore?
In and around Bangalore we have designed residential, interiors, education, hospitality, commercial projects, from single homes to campuses. Across India and abroad the practice has delivered 450+ projects since 2007.
Do you help with building plan approval from the GBA (formerly BBMP)?
Yes. We prepare the architectural drawings and documents that building plan approval needs and coordinate the submission with you. The Greater Bengaluru Authority sets the rules, fees and timelines, which depend on the site and the building.
How much do architects charge in Bangalore?
It depends on the size, type and scope of the project. Fees are usually agreed either as a percentage of the construction cost or as a fixed fee per stage. After a first conversation about your site and brief, we send a written proposal with the scope and fee.
Do you also design interiors and landscape?
Yes. Ensemblee is a multidisciplinary practice: architecture, engineering consultancy, interior design, landscape design, master planning and project management, so one team can carry a project from the first sketch to handover.
