The client wanted the architect to design very simple, contemporary, warm spaces with lots of ventilation and lighting and yet cost effective. Each space was designed with these principles. Since the plot is linear with less width, the plan itself is lengthwise, with 2 zones and a connecting corridor in between. The front wing is a service core with a main entrance foyer, parking, servant’s room, toilet and a guest bedroom with attached toilet. The second wing in the rear side has a large living area, family living, dining space and a modular open kitchen, all the spaces facing the swimming pool, lawn and the beautiful creek in the rear side. All spaces are ventilated and lighted with sliding glass doors. Space in between 2 wings is landscaped courts which can house functions. First floor has 3 bedrooms including the master bedroom and a study space.
The project shows simplicity, yet follows trendy contemporary architecture showcasing innovative selection of finishes and furnishing. It’s highly creative, very spacious, and airy and fully lighted layout with major spaces having view towards greenery, swimming pool and natural water body in rear side.
